* Suggest something similar to what the bride wants if you really can not bear what you have chosen. You might say, "I love love loooove the color and general court is great, but do you think you could go for wholesale dress some manga / a strip into / hem / etc." You go out in support of their preferences, rather than authoritarian or aggressive.
* Actually the sale of all the bridesmaids choose their own clothes thing. It is not, as I mentioned, the most popular choice, but considering that the bridesmaids of all shapes and sizes, I think it's a good idea.
* Seeing a bit of serious excitement every time the bride goes to show a bridesmaids dress potential "that make your eyes bleed.
